The last week was fun. There was a real party in my mentions.

First up, I was one of the listed authors of a new study about gay couples and cuckolding.

A study published in an academic journal that wound up being covered by CNN.

The right wing blew a gasket about this study.

I have a theory.

Cuckolding makes conservatives uncomfortable because, as other studies have shown,

politically conservative types tend to be more interested and aroused by cockolding.

Which makes sense if you think about it for a second and, of course, thinking about

things even for a second, not something conservatives are very good at, makes sense because

conservatives tend to be more, quote unquote, conservative about marriage and worse at it,

as divorce and out of wedlock birth stats demonstrate.

They also tend to be more quote unquote conservative about racial issues.

Cough, cough, cough, more racist, cough. And kinks, what are kinks about? They're about transgression and

violating taboos. So yeah, violating the taboo against adultery is going to be hotter for conservatives

on average. And you basically have to regard

interracial sex as taboo before you can fetishize transgressing or violating that taboo.

Anyway, the study, the psychology of gay men's cuckolding fantasies, doesn't promote cuckolding,

gay or otherwise. It simply notes that the thing is happening, asks why the thing

is happening, and tries to determine if the thing that's happening is a positive thing or a negative
