Hater's going to hate, right?

There's actually science now to back that up.

A article published in the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, quoting from a piece

here on So Late, corroborates the hip- hop and internet truism that you just can't win

with some people. The paper goes on to explain that people who hold negative views are more likely

to react negatively to new stimuli because haters are going to hate. And that's not news.

Like there's a lot of hate sloshing around out there in the world. Some of it directed at me.

on a picture on Instagram accused me of attempted murder. That's new. I hadn't been accused

of attempted murder before. To all the people that in my sleep I've attempted to murder,

I apologize. But what else? Hater's going hate. And hate it's going to make shit up.

I try not to get too bogged down by it.

But last week, a hater that I'm unfamiliar with hated on me so hard and so bizarrely and so

revealingly that I do want to wallow in the hate for a moment.

Stan Solomon is a Tea Party activist and radio talk show host and internet talk show and blogger and a political activist who got actually fired from a political campaign that he was running in Indiana after his tweets surfaced.

I love it when people say someone's tweets surfaced as if tweets aren't public in the first place. You're not putting them out there in the world for mass consumption. A tweet isn't a diary you keep under your bed with a little lock and a little pink key. A tweet is something you're floating out in the world because you want people to know what the hell you think. Anyway, some of his tweets surfaced. They were really insanely anti-Semitic and homophobic. And so he got fired. And you know it takes a lot of hate. You know, haters are going to hate. Nobody hates like tea partiers hate. And it takes a lot of hate to get fired for hate from a tea party campaign. I got to say. Not that I want to hate on the tea partiers here, but, you know, I think the only appropriate hate hate is to hate

haters. I do hate haters and a lot of haters in two parties. Anyway, I don't want to bog down

on that. But Stan Solomon, hate humped my leg on his show. And I'm just going to play this clip here
