So that's four countries.

All went for marriage equality. And in the United States,

since Brian Brown came to my house for dinner and said that their side was winning, Maine,

Maryland, Washington State all legalized marriage for same-sex couples at the ballot box, Rhode

Island, Delaware, and Minnesota, Minnesota in addition to turning down saying no to an anti-gay

marriage amendment to its state constitution, turned around and approved marriage equality, turned around and legalized same-sex marriage.

In Minnesota, Delaware, Rhode Island. So six states, really. And it looked like we'd get a seventh since Brian Brown came to dinner at my house. We looked like we're going to get Illinois. But that was a heartbreaker and a squeaker and it failed in the house. And this is a detail that many people weren't

aware of when it failed in the house. The log cabin Republicans, the organization for Lickspittle

toadies, who spend their days picking the kernels of corn out of the turds laid by the

Republican Party. They will find that kernel of corn. It the turds laid by the Republican Party. They will

find that kernel of corn. It doesn't matter how big the dump is. We can count on the log cabin

Republicans to dig through it until they find that kernel of corn. And they did it in Illinois.

The head of the log cabin Republicans put out a press release after marriage equality failed

in Illinois slamming the betrayal of the Illinois

Democrats. They had betrayed the gay community and not getting this to the floor for a successful
