I really did.

A few years ago, I heard about a TED presentation by a woman named Cindy Gallup,

who is an advertising executive, 27 years, big deal advertising

executive. And she gave this talk at TED Talks about pornography, and she was launching a project

that she was calling Make Love Not Porn. And my brain instantly shut off. I didn't even watch

the TED Talk. I really didn't know what Cindy was about.

I just assumed this was another person out there ranting and raving about all the damage

that porn was doing to men, to the culture, to sex.

And it was sort of an anti-porn crusade that people should stop watching pornography and

start making love because the two are somehow at war with each other.

And it wasn't until, I'm embarrassed to say, a week ago, or a couple weeks ago when I flew to

L.A. to do the Ricky Lake show, which was on this week. Ricky's back on the air. Welcome

back, Ricky. That actually sat in the same room with Cindy Gallup and heard her talk about her

project.

And the very first thing out of her mouth was something that I could agree with 100,000 billion percent.

She's pro-porn, she said, pro-sex and pro-knowing the difference.
