And you heard in the final days of the debate that there were 200 amendments in the

final bill that had been suggested by Republicans. And they had been included. The Democrats included

them in an effort to, you know, be bipartisan to reach out to the party that could really give a

fuck about reaching back or reaching around.

And one of those Republican amendments, as it turns out, was suggested by Oren Hatch, Republican Senator of Utah, who voted against health insurance reform, of course.

And to the tune of one quarter of a billion dollars to be spent over the next five years. Yes, guess what?

They put back into the federal budget, $50 million a year for absence of all-use sex education.

They had taken that out. It's back in to please, Orrin Hatch, and social conservatives, who all voted against and are out there storming around in public,

screaming about socialism and the apocalypse and the end of America and our Constitution.

To please them, they put this idiocy back into the federal budget, quarter of a billion dollars

next five years on a sex education program that we now know results in Bristol Palins, results in pregnant

teenagers, results in higher STI rates for teenagers who have been subjected to absence-only education.
