they are still executing minors for, you know, the same thing that these comedians who are going

to comedy festival, like, are, you know, trying to reason their visit that it is for, you know,

promoting the freedom of expression. But you are really promoting your bank account,

basically. If you could just come out and say that, that would have been so much better.

But don't talk about freedom of expression when they're literally minors.

And there's not like also execution.

These people were like tortured.

These minors suffered severe torture in prison.

In October 2018, you probably remember this. The Saudi author and political writer, Jamal Khashoggi, was in Turkey and Istanbul. He was back into the Saudi embassy there.

He's a Saudi national, even though he was living in the U.S. and writing for the Washington Post as a columnist.

He was told he had to do some paperwork as regarding his wife. There, he was ambushed and, as best we can tell, from intelligence reports of other governments that have been reported on the U.S.

press, he was tortured and murdered by Saudi agents, who were, again, according to the reporting we have,

at the direction of the ruler of Saudi Arabia, crown prince Mohammed bin Salman.

He was then cut up with a bone saw and disposed of. This was when it came out,

an enormous international scandal and also somewhat strange and geopolitically awkward because the

president of time was Donald Trump, who had quite famously made his first foreign trip to Saudi Arabia,

was very close to the Saudis love loved the fact that they had money,

had for many years praised the Saudis because they had so much money and they like to buy things from Trump and what am I supposed to say negative things about them? The Biden administration

came in. They kind of kept a strange, again, somewhat awkward arms length relationship.

They were critical of the human rights abuses and obviously this murder of

American newspaper columnist, but also for geopolitical reasons, not the least of which having to do
