Today, I'm speaking with interiors and product designer Sarah Sherman Sample.

Like I'm sure many of you, I've followed Sarah's career for years through her gorgeous

Michigan home renovation, to her remodels for celebrity clients like Mandy Moore,

and all of the incredible products she's designed along the way, like cabinets with semi-hand

made, rug spills and wallpaper with Lulu and Georgia, and so much more. Her eponymous blog

and stunning Instagram feed have also been huge hits, where readers are inspired by Sarah's

thoughtful use of color and unique blended aesthetics, creating artful spaces that are modern,

but warm and relaxed, but edited. Her interiors have been featured in Dwell magazine,

on the cover of architectural digest, and most recently, her own home was featured on the cover

of Domino Magazine. As an expert in this space, you might be surprised to learn that it took Sarah

some time to find herself on the interiors path, and instead started her career at an ad agency

working on print design for high-end real estate clients. True story. Her path to finding

creative fulfillment is incredibly relatable, and I can't wait to share her story.

We like to go back all the way to the beginning on this podcast, so I'm wondering what did you

study in school, and what did you think you were going to be when you grew up?
