I think that the pandemic has thrown a wrench in thinking about turnout because it is just not going to look like a regular election now.

You know, when you've got Joe Biden up in Florida by 10 points among voters who are 65 and older.

Okay, that's great because Hillary Clinton was down with that demographic by 7 points.

The problem is, is those people are the most likely to feel nervous about actually going to the polls.

We have all been so inundated in news about the coronavirus that I have decided to do an episode this week which mostly talks about other important things, including the upcoming US election.

But in my little spiel at the beginning of this podcast,

I do want to talk about where we stand.

I have to say that after a bevy of activity and of writing about

Corona, as we then called it in the first weeks of March, I hadn't been writing much about it.

And the reason is that I felt that there was a lot of conflicting news coming down the

transom.

My overall picture didn't seem to be becoming any clearer.
