We are at the lunch break on day two of Florida versus Sarah Boone.

She is accused of killing her boyfriend George Torres by leaving him zipped in a suitcase when going to bed and or passing out.

The state is almost done with their case.

It seems that they have one witness left, their lead investigator at the morning.

I had suspected that they were going to end with their lead investigator and it seems that that's exactly

what they're going to be doing. They're going to be playing the entirety of the three hour interview with

Seraboon and that will be the close of the state's evidence

either later today or early tomorrow, meaning

Sarah Boone should be on the stand tomorrow at some point.

So this trial went from a three week qualified trial

to a very normal like four or five day trial.

So it's just moved along. The state has put in almost all of their

evidence. They played the videos Sarah took of her phone with George begging

that he could not breathe in the suitcase.

It's chilling to hear it in Sarah's own words.

You can hear the panic level rising in the victim, George Torres,

and you can hear Sarah just being like,

that's my name, don't wear it out you should shut the

fuck up then it is incredibly cold and when we were looking at a second degree
