He doesn’t want the civil case to poorly affect his criminal case as witnesses make so called “inflammatory statements” about him. The ACLU of MA filed an Amicus Brief in support of Karen Read echoing many of the sentiments that her attorneys have made. Welcome back to this week's episode of the Emily show. Today we have quite a lot going on in the law to talk about while the Sarah Boone trial is speeding right along and by the time this podcast drops, she will probably have already taken the stand in her own defense,

0:16.6

and we will be well through the trial.

0:18.0

And if you have the Laundered app, you wouldn't be missing a minute because it's been a really efficient and well-run trial. It's been lovely

0:26.2

to see a trial just going normally and quickly. It's been quite a pleasant change

0:32.4

from some of the trials we've covered and some of those are trials we're going to talk about today like the Karen Reed case.

0:38.0

1:11.7

the current DA right now, and there is a lot of new

1:18.0

Diddy News. I am not going to be getting into all of the new Diddy news. There was a swath of new lawsuits filed Sunday night.

1:26.4

There's also some new motions in court that we need to talk about and what's going on

1:31.1

with those. So we have a lot.

1:34.8

Emily, how many times can you say that?

1:37.2

A lot.

1:40.7

It's not intentional, but a little bit.

1:42.6

We should just get into it.

1:44.6

And for those of you that have been joining me on our long trial days,

1:47.8

glad you're also joining me for the updates.

1:49.7

In the other cases I'm covering in this podcast
