It was maybe three years ago I saw a movie at the Los Angeles Film Festival called Comet

that starts off with Justin Long, surrounded by a starry night,

in a frame that looked like it could have been lifted from an early Stanley Kubrick film.

And then when I saw the second episode of a series called Mr. Robot,

I thought with the Beethoven Aligretto and the start of the second episode, this man is making his

Clockwork Orange homage, and it's gone since from Beethoven to Sati to Saimon in terms of music.

And my guest is the creator and executive producer of Mr. Robot, Sammas, you know.

And one of the things I want to ask you about, the one of the things that strikes me,

and I just think about this with the show, you have Emmy Rossoman and just along in that movie.

But in the show, you've got Rami Malik and Portia Doubleday and Carly Chek and even Simitra Mani and Craig Robinson,

these actors we think as being comedic actors,

doing something very different.

And I wonder what is that makes you cast them like that because the way of getting people with expressive faces

to do something that's different from the way they normally were.

Well, I love faces.

I love, you know, it's weird when I talk to my cinematographer,

we love wide angle lenses up close, but not every face, not every face you can do that.
