Summary

The power of genetics is happening right before your eyes. You can deny it or try and beat it all you want, but eventually, we all begin to look more and more like our parents. This is the normal outcome of growing older. Here's what is also true; You have the potential to grow up and look like your Heavenly Father. In appearance and attitude, we become what we model ourselves on, and in the same way, we can become versions of our Earthly parents, we can, by the power of the Holy Spirit, become more and more like Jesus.

0:43.0	But I just want to invite you that if God is stirring your heart and turning things upside down in your life,
0:49.0	that's why we wrote the book, not for-saken.
0:52.0	It's about 25 or 30 messages worth in the book.
0:57.0	And so we're just scratching the surface really in these four weeks.
1:01.0	And that's been powerful.
1:03.0	But I want to encourage you, get the book, dive in, go at your own pace, read for the next few weeks,
1:09.0	or the next few months, or the next few years as God transforms you into a brand new place in life,
1:17.0	where you see that you're a love son, a love daughter of a perfect father.
1:22.0	And you have the potential, this is what we're saying today, to grow up and look like your Heavenly Father.
1:29.0	You have and I have in Christ the potential to grow up and be like our Heavenly Father.
1:37.0	In the same way, we're going to grow up and be like our dad and our mom,
1:42.0	but for me thinking about it, grow up and be like my dad.
