Summary

“For many of you, your biggest problem is not your problems, it’s your anxiety about your problems.” — Jesus presents anxiety as one of the biggest impediments to seeking the Kingdom of God. For many of us, worries and anxiety in life keep us from all we are meant to be under God. This week, Pastor Ben Stuart reminds us that there is an invitation to cast our cares on Him. Our anxieties are not too heavy for God — He is there waiting for us to release them.

0:20.6	Well, all throughout the Scriptures, the Word of God declares over and over again
0:25.0	that we exist for one simple, beautiful purpose to know and enjoy Jesus,
0:32.1	that all things were made by Him and for Him, that in His presence is fullness of joy,
0:39.1	that the nearness to you is my good. And our text has said, rejoice in the Lord always.
0:45.6	Find your joy in Him that every man, woman and child was made to rest and delight in an intimate
0:53.4	relationship with God. That's what we're made for. And I know many of us believe that to be true,
0:59.3	but we struggle to experience it. Your life is not this profound intimacy with God. And you say,
1:06.8	why? Well, if we have an enemy, and the Bible says that we do, then I would submit that for many of us,
1:13.6	His goal is not to convince you that God isn't real or that the Bible is not true. He said,
1:19.3	if you want to read the Word of God, if you want to see God go for it, just make sure you look
1:23.2	good while you're doing it. And while you're at that, make sure you go to the right college
1:27.8	and pick the right major so you can get the right internship and get the right job so you can get
1:32.9	on the right team and get the right boss so you can get the right promotions so you can take over
1:37.8	the world. But to do that, you got to move to the right city and cities are expensive so you got to
1:42.0	get a house. And when you get the house, it's real expensive. So now I need roommates. I actually
1:46.5	need a lot of roommates. Now I got roommate drama coming at me and in the middle of that, I meet
1:51.1	somebody. And we go on a date, we go on more dates, there's some more dates, and I meet their friends,
2:00.8	and their family, they got to meet my friends, and my family, now are we going to get engaged,
2:04.4	are we going to get married? Oh my gosh, what about our careers? Where are we going to live?
