I'm John Batchel. I welcome my good friend Lorenzo Fiore in Milan, looking at Italy in anticipation of the summer season, but also right now. Lorenzo, the Pope had a very good week in America. I hope he had a good week in Italy as well. The Holy Father is from Chicago, Pope Leo. And it so happened that the President of the United States unfortunately made some unkind and unacceptable remarks. The Pope didn't need anybody to answer

for him. He answered for himself. And in remarks during the week in his mission to Africa, I believe, Cameroon,

the Pope said that the world is plagued by a handful of tyrants. It's very difficult to disagree.

What I celebrate about the Pope is that he's from Chicago. In America, that means Chicago rules.

He brings a knife, you bring a gun.

He puts one of yours in the hospital.

You put five of his in the morgue.

Now, I'm not saying the Pope would hurt anybody.

I'm saying that he'll stand up for himself.

But he must have welcomed and smiled when your prime minister,

Georgia Maloney, stood up for the Pope.

Was that a popular remark by the Pope and by the Prime Minister during the week?
