One more time going to the idea that he's facing down America, Churchillian facing down America, fighting America. Conrad explains. Also, it's an old

theme he used during the campaign, but here it is almost a year and a half into his premiership.

And Conrad asked that question. Conrad Black on Mark Carney. I think he's just playing a violin that worked before.

And as you imply in your question, he's been in office long enough that we should start

seeing hard commitments of policy and the voters being in a position to assess the results of that policy, and we aren't.

So I can only surmise that at his recent party conference, they have the political parties here,

it's not a nominating convention, but it's a general convention where everyone gets things

off the chest to have them every year.

And he, I suppose, just sounded this note.

And he started with his masquerade as Churchill shaking his fist across Lake Ontario and saying

we would fight in the hills and the streets against the Trump monster.

He was not his words exactly, but that was the theme.

Then he followed up with that speech at Davos that many people liked, but I didn't,

where he announced that he was going to help organize a group of this.

He put in middle powers to resist what he represented is the abusive dominance of the United

States, which is nonsense. I mean, the abuse of dominance consisted the United States, which is nonsense.

I mean, the abuse of dominance consisted of them carrying the entire Western alliance on their backs for 20 years.

And I mean, I think most of us, you know, did our part during the Cold War.

But after that, it's just been the United States defending all of us, we wouldn't know thanks for it.

And I think that whole thing is wearing thin.
