I'm John Batchel. I welcome my friend and colleague Craig Unger, author of House of Trump, House of Putin,

to Hungary, where momentarily Craig and his substack page have been in the news, I understand,

prior to the election of the new Prime Minister of Hungary, Peter Magyar, defeating the 16-year-long

premiership of a man named Victor Orban.

All of this is critical to understand in light of Vladimir Putin, Donald Trump,

and Russian state security under the Soviet Union became Russian state security,

the FSB under the Russian Federation.

However, Craig has instructed me and taught me over these last years that the Russian state

security is coterminous with the Russian mob.

So we have to look again at the relationship between Victor Orban, Vladimir Putin, state

security that once upon a time Vladimir Putin headed and the Russian mobsters,

sometimes known as the Russian mafia, and Donald Trump, all of this eventually connects.

Craig, a very good evening to you. I'm overwhelmed with all these connections. Who is Victor Orban

to Vladimir Putin? What does he represent? He was a puppet and one of several

puppets and a puppet who is deep inside the European Union. And as such, he had veto power

over the dispensing of about $90 billion to Ukraine. So he was Putin's man inside the EU, and he could stop things like that money

from being distributed. So he was very important to Putin, who is doing his best to sort of make

inroads on NATO, the European Union, all of Europe, and of course, the United States as well.

Now, that was not a revelation to the people of Hungary. They put your article in the news for

another reason. It has to do with Victor Orban having connections to a man named Mogulavich

or Mogulovich. Who is he? Mogulavits, if I'm pronouncing his name, right, is one of the most powerful mobsters in Russia.
