We turn to the politics of California that dominate the

news not only in California but nationally because Governor Gavin Newsom is polling extremely well

in the early polls about the Democratic nominee for the presidency in 2028. We've spoken of Mr.

Newsom's global national tour before. However, at the same time,

he's leaving office and that opens up the governor's seat. And I've been watching various names.

There are many names. I don't know them all. So I go to one in particular that came up in

association with California's tax base,

and that is Ms. Kulati.

And she made a very clear statement on a video, which I saw online,

that California is in tax trouble if the billionaires leave,

which they're leaving all the time.

The Uber billionaire is now the most recent to leave California.

In fact, Ms. Kulotti said, if you take 200, she called them guys, 200 guys, pay 47% of the

revenue of California.

Jeff, that's not a stable system if that's accurate.

Is it accurate?

And is the governor's race about that statistic?

The governor's race is not been about that statistic.

That's actually part of a referendum that's going to come up.

It seems to be gaining traction.
