I'm John Batchler. I welcome my good colleague of many, many years, decades now.

We turn immediately to the good news given the unhappy news from all over the world about supply chains and shortages and price spikes and selloffs.

And then there is the violence in Lebanon and Iran. And there's the violence in the Gulf and burning tankers.

But we have a very good story. It's baseball season. The major leagues are opening at the

beginning of April. They're all in training camps now. And there's one particular new franchise

that isn't yet ready to unveil its stadium, but it is in a very good place. It's the Las Vegas A's.

Jeff, a very good day to you. The owner of the Las Vegas A's comes out and makes an

announcement that surprised me. You get used to the idea that there's over budget. It's going to be

another year and we're not happy with the

design. But instead, what did we learn, Jeff? Good day to you. Good day, John. It's good news for

those people that are excited about the A's playing in Las Vegas. They're still in Sacramento right now

for the time being. But their owner, John Fisher, came out and said, look, we're on schedule here.

We're going to be ready in 2028, just as we promised, and we're on budget.

This is a $2 billion stadium facility that looks, you know, Star Wars.

It's so beautiful and futuristic.

And people worried if they could get it done. And it appears

that they are getting it done. Even the naysayers are showing pictures on social media,

showing that the work is just moving at a very rapid pace. People are excited there. Can they,

you know, can they bring in the people they need? That remains to be seen.

We'll only know once we get it going.

But right now, it looks like it's going to be another great addition to the Vegas sports scene.
