Thaddeus, you have a question for Malcolm.

Malcolm, is it fair to say that Saudi Arabia and the UAE will not be sending each other Valentine's Day cards this year?

I think that's a very fair thing to say.

We're seeing a real shift, and it's very hard to discern

what the truth is in this case about what's happening in Saudi Arabia. There are a lot of

analysts who point to a major shift that a decision was made after Iran was basically diminished

as a threat that the Saudis didn't feel they needed it as much.

There's a lot of talk about internal dissensions between MBS and other elements, including the king, in Saudi Arabia, has declined to normalize relations, but it also seems to have an aggressive

regional repositioning position and weaponizing anti-Zionism as an instrument against the

first Abraham Accords, which they didn't join. And we see that analysts who have been studying

this for a long time have been pointing to

the new alliance. You know, Saudi Arabia is talking about joining the Pakistani umbrella with Turkey,

Saudi Arabia lining with Qatar and even bombing the UAE in Yemen and acts of hostility that are growing all the time.

And people are very concerned about what the implication.

The UAE is a proven ally of the United States and has sustained its commitment to the Abraham Accords. But we see the

Saudis seem to be pursuing regime change in the UAE. That's what some of the people who are

very close to it have told me. And the campaign targeting the Emirates and the Muslim world

to delegitimize MBZ, including talking about supporting separatists

and militias and abandoned the rules and norms of Islam and all sorts of accusations about the

internal behavior and external. And we see that they are mobilizing Takfiris against the UAE who declare the leadership and the people of the UAE as non-Muslims, as coup fires, as deniers.

So this is a very serious matter, I think, for us and for America, for Israel.
