We welcome Malcolm Holnline. This is a grim accounting, but there it is. The Middle East is always in

despair, but right now it's also in mourning in a country we cannot see in very clearly. However,

Thethe has a question for Malcolm. Yes, Malcolm and

Iran. The persecutions are continuing. The executions are commencing. Do we know how many people

have actually been killed so far within Iran? And do we also know what they're vowing in terms

of retaliation against those who are supporting the protesters?

Yes, good to be with both of you in a very difficult time and the aftermath of the

demonstrations, which are still roiling in Iran. The numbers are not exact because the numbers,

which already given by the health ministry,

for the first two-day figure, was over 30,000.

This aligns with numbers that doctors and first responders gave, but this doesn't include those who were at military hospitals or in unreported locations.

We know that forces from the IRGC and others went in the hospital's room to room and shot the wounded.

We know that they were killing point blank people.

There are films on the internet taken by eyewitnesses.

People seen photographing even from a window of their

apartment, were shot by the forces so that there would be no record. But senior officials are

confirming these horrific numbers, which may be even up to 60,000 or more, with hundreds of thousands

wounded.

There are hundreds who are coming in with eye injuries in particular hospitals have reported.

The total number are in the many thousands because the soldiers aimed at the eyes and head

injuries.
