in Switzerland as the president gathers around him eager ears to hear his policies with regard to

Greenland, the Board of Peace, Tehran,

but especially we're listening for his policies on Asia and China in particular, though

there is a snap election in Japan that will be determinative. So I come to you for your

understanding of what the Trump administration's China policy,

China thinking is now in this year of suspend the tariffs and we'll work it out.

I believe the president is scheduled to meet with Xi Jinping four times in these next months.

And yeah, the events that are going to happen about 65 kilometers from where I live has got the world's attention right now, especially since his plane was delayed.

So I'll just say that my, if I could use a phrase to characterize the Trump policy towards China in the Far East would be speaks awfully but carry a

loud stick. And he has, in many ways, as I think Gordon and you were just discussing before we

went on the air, President Trump has made clear in his national security strategy that China is the

number one concern and that he's going to address how to deal with

them and in the sense contain them through all elements of national power, economic, military,

diplomatic information.

And so in that regard, I think what you see from President Trump is, you know, he's reluctant
