Gaza burning the headlines for months, for a year.

Now you can't find it.

The facts are there's a Board of Peace, and the President is nominating members of the Board of Peace.

And there's controversy immediately because one of the names is Vladimir Putin nominated for the Board of Peace, along with representatives from the United States. And I believe the foreign secretary of Turkey, who's the former head of MIT, that state security.

So it's a mixed group of not necessarily friendly voices for the United States.

To accomplish what, Mary?

Because this looks like good State Department thinking.

Well, some of the names on the list like Russia are puzzling to say the least.

Others that are getting criticized, such as the invitation to Belarus, make a little bit more

sense if you think a sec about it, namely that it looks like an attempt, as in the first term,

to try to pull Belarus away from Russia to give it some independence to, you know, to peel

it away. And that would be a good thing.

You know, the Board of Peace has a noble mission. The question is, are you giving it,

equipping it with the tools that it needs to succeed, namely really ridding Gaza of Hamas
