attending to news from the California coast for some time, and a lot of it's negative.

But this is a positive story, if I understand it.

There's a highway called, I believe, Highway 1, and there's a place called

Big Sur. And there's been trouble recently because of land sites. I don't understand all of it,

Jeff, but there's something positive. Good evening to you. Good evening, John. Big Sur is an area

that's kind of on the border there of the central coast of California and the beginning

of the northern coast. It's one of the most scenic roadways in America or anywhere. It's

just beautiful. You have the Pacific. You have the mountains on one side, you know, on the inland

side, you have the Pacific, the crashing waves on the rocks, and is virtually untouched and in portions

unpopulated. So it's just this beautiful open stretch. And it was one of the thoroughfares

that could take you from Southern California or Central California, really, up along parts

of Northern California. But for years, they've had problems with landslides and subsidence, and to the point where the

highway, the Pacific Coast Highway there, was completely obliterated, just taken out by these huge

slides. Well, they finally think they've come up with something that's going to get around that.
