At the same time, Claudia Scheinbaum, deftly handling the challenge of the United States and its border,

is sending oil to Cuba.

Why? I asked Mary.

Why would she do that, knowing it would provoke, knowing that the Cuban regime

is the enemy of freedom, understanding that the Cuban people have been persecuted by the

regime, what's left of the Castroite regime. He is married to it explained very straightforwardly, ideology in Mexico City.

Well, she does it because she really believes in the Cuban cause, the cause of the dictatorship.

And between May and August, they sent something like three times the amount of oil that they had sent in the previous two years to Cuba

and Cuba's in big trouble because they've lost that you know their Venezuelan sugar daddy

and they need somebody else to send them oil because that's how they run their electricity

which is pretty sparse at this point, but just barely

keeping them alive. So, you know, she wants to continue this support for Havana. And I think on

one level, it's not so much that she really believes in the dictatorship in H Nevada, but that her whole background is anti-American.

And if the dictatorship falls, that's something that the U.S. wants,

therefore she has to be against it.
