Incorporated, traveling widely, as she did with the Secretary of State when she was senior advisor

in the first Trump administration. We're now looking at Tehran through a glass darkly. The

internet is down, the phone's been down for days. There are spotty reports of some packages getting out

from Starlink, but not much. What I've seen, I don't need to see more. Body bags strewn over the

floor of a gymnasium or thrown down in a parking lot, families wandering around searching for their

dead loved ones whom they can't find anywhere because there's no

responsibility by the regime. At the same time, there are movements around the whole region

for fear that Iran will use what missiles it has left in some kind of punishment of everybody.

The Islamic regime is said by the Chancellor of Germany, Friedrich Merritt's, to have days or weeks left.

Extremely dangerous, however, in those days and weeks.

Mary, you worked with Iran for years with the Secretary of State in the first term.

Iran is in transition, and talk of Iran's surrendering seems a wishcasting.

How do you measure these next days?

Are they last-ditch fighters?

What is driving the Mullahs?

Well, like Maduro in Venezuela, they're deeply

corrupt, brutal people. And this is a regime simply trying to hold on to power and the only

way it knows how, which is to kill people. And the numbers that we're hearing from human rights

groups are horrific. It feels like a 1989 event for

Iran, and we don't know which way it's going to go at the present moment. President Trump has

voiced support for the Iranian people. I wish he would do the same for the Cuban and the
