I'm John Bachelor with Thaddezman Carter, my colleague and co-host from American Greatness, and Malcolm

Holnand of the Conference of President's Major American Jewish Organizations. I recall, Thaddeus,

you're making remarks on the floor of the House of Representatives after the protests in 2009

led to the death of a young woman, many others as well because of the beseech opened fire.

You're making that statement.

The Obama administration not responding in any credible fashion these many years later.

And here we have again an administration that has an opportunity to respond.

You have a question for Malcolm, that is.

Malcolm, it's not too premature for pundits to speculate as to the course of events in Iran

following the implosion of this regime beneath its people's aspiration for freedom.

There's been talk about a return of the Shah in the form of his son. Are there any long-term plans in place

anywhere for what would happen if the regime does in fact fall? So that is the critical question

right now. The Shah's son, Razablawi, has had increasing visibility. We've seen signs at demonstrations calling for bringing back the

Shah, the son of the Shah. It would not be, I think, as a permanent solution. He's more of a

figurehead. I don't think he's himself as the next head of government and discussions we've had

and others have had with him.

He's a symbol and there is a vacuum.

And for a long time, people have worked and trying to bring together the disparate elements that we talked about,

that John asked about the different groups that constitute the opposition,

which has been developing and been imprisoned and been and suffered so much over the years.

And they saw the handwriting of the wall.

You know that Venezuela gave more than 10,000 passports for leaders of the Venezuelan government

...
