family. However, here we are in the West and we've been looking at, as John Quincy Adams said,

in a very famous speech in 1821. We've been looking for monsters overseas. We have monsters at home.

So we come to the events of 23, 24, and now 25.

Anti-Semitism in America.

There it is.

It was a shock to see it, to report it, to have conversations about it with my colleagues, because we're of an age where

there was a general understanding, this is not going to be America. We're different. But,

Josh, I go to a moment that you mention in your book, but you only say that you needed police help to get out of the situation.

It was Loyola Law School, I believe, in Chicago. What happened?

Yeah, John, you know, I've experienced this at least twice on university campuses after October 7,

2023. The first time was actually at the University of Michigan and Ann Arbor about a month after October 7, 2023. The first time was actually at the University of Michigan

in Ann Arbor about a month after October 7th, where I was shouted down for 35, 40 minutes

by protesters who painted their hands in red to indicate that I was calling for blood,

and they were banging on the walls and it was really just

deeply unpleasant and at that time actually one student did start to make a lunge for me at the

front of the of the classroom. I had a private security guard that the student group had there for me

so he bolted out to protect me at that time. And then I got a police escort walk back to the

car afterwards. But arguably the even hairy situation was about a year later in October 2024,
