Are you doing all of the “right” things… Eating the “right” foods, training hard, lifting weights, getting enough sleep… And still gaining belly fat? Well, are you close to menopause?

The Quick and Dirty: Is it possible for a woman to eat the same diet, have the same activity/workout routine, and still gain weight? Short answer: Yes. Complicated Answer: Double yes! This isn’t made up in your head, you're not lying or cheating your food intake or your workouts.  YOU AREN’T CRAZY.  So that’s at least good news. The million dollar question is: Why tho???Well we’re diving into just that, and more on why it’s so important to start building muscle TODAY. It doesn’t matter if you are pre, post, or perimenopause. More muscle has been PROVEN to combat the muscle loss we experience during this time.
