The Uyghurs of the Xinjiang region of China persecuted these many years

and no place better documented than in a book, No Escape,

the true story of China's genocide of the Uyghurs, Nouri Turkle, the author.

And Nouri joins me to help understand a story that is confounding,

a man named Guan, who provided film evidence of the persecution of the Uyghurs by the Chinese Communist Party.

And by persecution, Nouri will fill us in on what that means, but it's quite spectacularly 20th century horror.

That man brought the film out, and that was possible to demonstrate to the world of the persecution,

the human rights violation underway now continuing. This was 2020. It's five years later.
