We begin with the news in these last 24 hours of the capitals involved in negotiating an N2 or a ceasefire in or an armistice for the Ukraine-Russia conflict that dominates the story in Europe at year's end.

The understanding is that Washington has urged, demanded, requested, suggested, ordered Keefe to surrender all of the Donbass to Russia in order to win a peace deal.

That means the Deneck portion of forts that remain adamant in holding up defense for a year now.

You hear a name of a city called Pekrofts.

That's one of the several cities that are holding back the Russian forces. Surrendering all of Dunbaths means that territory, not one by

the Russians, goes to Russian hands. The information from Ukraine is that three quarters of the

Ukrainian people say, no, we will not

surrender territory to Russia.

The Rada, the assembly in Keef, must, according to the Constitution, vote to surrender territory.

They can't do it arbitrarily.

And yet, we're also told repeatedly that the least the Kremlin can win and take home.

The least Mr. Putin can show his right wing, and he has a right wing, is all of the Donbass plus Crimea, the least.

So what we have here is the irresistible force, that would be the United States of America and the Trump administration.

The immovable object, that would be the Kremlin, a thousand years of Russian history and Vladimir Putin in his right wing.

And in between is Ukraine.
