He keeps the Long World Journal, where you will routinely see reporting by our special guest,

Edmund Fitton Brown, former ambassador from the U.K. to Yemen.

And then for many years, part of a U.N. effort to monitor the disruptions of the Middle East and South Asia and across the world

having to do with what was once known as terror. It still is known by that, but I note that

it's no longer on the front page above the fold as it was for many years. Bill and I've been

having this conversation for more

than two decades. And yet in one burst of violence around the world, continent to continent,

terror is mentioned routinely now in reporting above the fold for newspapers in many continents.

Terror in Australia, terror in Syria, terror in Afghanistan, threat of terror

from Afghanistan to the United States. The D.C. shooter is an Afghanistan veteran. I mentioned

that only because I don't know how to connect that dot. It's just a dot on the table. We have

a persecution in Pakistan of a man who was responsible. We're told of

directing the Taliban to press Kabul back in 21 when the United States withdrew. We also have

reports of ISIS in Australia. The two shooters are associated with that. We have a report of ISIS in Syria,

associating that with a member of the security team in Damascus, turning his weapon on American
