Terror, terror, terror on several continents.

I welcome my colleagues, Ambassador Hussain O'Connor, former ambassador from Pakistan to the United States,

now a senior fellow at the Hudson Institute, and Bill Rajo, a senior fellow at the Foundation for

Defense of Democracy, for more than two decades, two and a half decades, on the Long War Journal

following the terror story that links very little

other than unacceptable violence suddenly in civilian settings or over vast regions of vulnerable

human beings. We have Australia and the attack by what we're told to be ISIS-linked shooters.

We have Afghanistan, and what we're told is now a general understanding

that there are Afghans, terror-linked Afghans, in the U.S.

that came in in the evacuation withdrawal, abandonment of Afghanistan in 2021.

We have a significant change in the leadership in Pakistan having to do with a general,

a former powerful general who is associated with the events of these last years

from the Afghanistan-Pakistan border, now jailed by the all-powerful chief of staff of Pakistan.

And we have a shooting in Providence, Rhode Island, against the elite Brown University students,

but no solution to my knowledge.

All of this is fog of war.

There are no facts that you can nail down.

The story moves very quickly.
