about Saudi Arabia's conversation with the United States with President Trump, acquiring nuclear power plants for Saudi Arabia, one or many.

What needs to be done to be cautious about proliferation? Andrea describes it in detail.

Care, care, inspection perhaps, protocols perhaps, additional protocols,

no different than any other nation.

They'd be very careful about enrichment process

and what can follow in the fashion of Iran.

Saudi Arabia is an ally, but still, here's Andrea to describe what needs to be in place

and watch carefully should Saudi Arabia acquire a string of nuclear power plants

and is eager for it to contain the enrichment process in

Saudi Arabia.

It is possible that the U.S. could be considering some kind of agreement for direct

access to Saudi facilities, particularly if it does involve

enrichment or reprocessing. But what we recommend is permanent IEA safeguards, including the

additional protocol, on all kingdom facilities, both present and future. So they couldn't, for example,

kick out the inspectors and say,

well, too bad. They would have to commit now that they won't eject inspectors or rescind safeguards on these

facilities.
