This is the New World Report watching the Americas, especially those vulnerable to distortions in the Democratic vote.

Most recently, Bolivia is of grave concern,

but there's more to check on.

There's Peru, and there's also Argentina, to update.

Professor, the government, the legitimate elected democratic government in Bolivia

has been under siege by Ava Morales and bad actors for weeks and weeks and weeks.

The siege has lifted to somewhat on La Paz, at least the reporting is no longer alarming.

And yet, is there going to be resolution as Ava Morales lived to fight another day?

Well, John, my sense is that Rodrigo Paz himself, as elected president, has escaped the current

crisis, but both he and Abel Morales have a pending second fight coming maybe later this year,

maybe otherwise, and for a series of reasons. Everyone is indirectly discontent with the way things came out or at least animated to

look for this challenge a different way in the future.

So on the one hand, you have people on the right who are Rodrigo Paa's supporters who

were frustrated with the lack of essentially aggressiveness with which he has taken old mosque people out of the government
