Michael generously comes to us with the new updated

is made. However, it is important to say this is not about UFOs, UAPs called modernly. This is not

about what happens in Earth's atmosphere.

This is about astronomy.

I'm being direct, Michael, because this is not about aliens landing on your backyard.

And sometimes SETI is mocked in a fashion that is inappropriate.

You've emphasized the scientific method,

of course, but I wanted to also add the fact that all of the Roswell business these last

decades haven't helped you, and they don't help the future. I know we can't stop it, but we can say

that we wish it would go away. What is your opinion of the flying saucers?

Well, I think UAPs, you know, there are obviously things in the sky that people see that are difficult to explain.

Even when we see rocket launches, for example, we see all sorts of incredible phenomena

when you have staging, when rockets begin to reenter the atmosphere.

You know, all these things can be, you know, very interesting for someone looking up at the sky and they wonder, you know,

what is it that they're seeing?

And we also know that, you know, not only are we putting a lot of things into space,

and so we do see sometimes kind of weird things, but we also know that there are an awful

lot of things flying around,

you know, in our environment. Drones, you know, there are drones everywhere. There are drones

for all sorts of national security reasons, which, you know, are not well known, but they're there.
