I'm John Bachelor, to Renzo Fiore, my guide through Italy in a heavily touristed time with extremely

high temperatures. You want to go where the tourists are not in great number. Over tourism is a

threat to Rome, to Florence, to Milan, but not to where we're going. Lorenzo, Chow, the weather has been in news for weeks now,

from London to Paris to Milan, 40 degrees centigrade or higher. How is it now and is it coming

The weather is very, very hot.

In Milan, at least, we have very high temperature, but we are lucky because the humidity percentage remains pretty low.

But on the coastline in the morning, I mean, it remembers me when I was traveling to Far East

in the tropical and equatorial countries.

The humidity percentage is unbelievable, a combination with a very high temperature that doesn't

low down at night.

That means that Italy, but particularly Europe and particularly France and Spain and Portugal, are no longer Mediterranean countries.

They are more close to African tropical equatorial countries.

And we are approaching next week, again, another wave of heat.

At least these are the weather forecast.

At least temperature can go up to 110 Fahrenheit in Sardinia,

particularly in the inner part of the Sardinia land,

that famous island we spoke about many times in the past.

We expect a couple of thunderstorms that we are worried

that could be very violent with the ails and so on over the weekend,

but this is only for the north of Italy.
