observing what's happening in South America, the left-of-center narco-terror gangs that have dominated

the conversation ever since, well, Castro, but certainly Chavez, who died in 2013, and his

replacement in Maduro and all the other dictators and Cardillos and warlords and ganglords,

they're leaving us.

They're being swept out of office by men who were responsible to the GDP.

It's not early days. It's already happening.

Brazil's the next big one.

Historically, Latin America historically, has had poor government,

not remotely comparable to North America or Western Europe.

And there have been some exceptions, but very few.

And it all seems to be changing.

And the core of it is the debunking of the demigogy of just going out in a balcony and

announcing will to take from the rich and give it to the workers and the small farmers

and alternate military and civilian government, both of which are almost invariably very

corrupt in the individual leadership of them, and blame everything on the gringoes, the Americans.

And that was a formula that they have... and blame everything on the gringos, the Americans.

And that was a formula that they have used almost steadily and in the least poorly governed of those countries intermittently

for a century or more.

And it all seems to be falling away now.
