Sam, I want to press you on the Board of Peace. It was a rhetorical, useful ploy at the time

had to do with the end of the hostages being kept live and all in dead, to my knowledge, deceased at the time. But these many weeks later,

it's lost in the fray of the Strait of Hormuz, of the Iran war, of the threat in Ukraine,

of the general political temperament of the U.S., no longer gazing at Gaza if that that's the beginning and end of the day's news.

However, the Board of Peace, what does it mean for the people of Gaza?

Last time I saw a glimpse of Gaza, and I've been there many times over the decades.

I've broadcast from Gaza.

It's essentially beachfront property on the Mediterranean. And there can be days you could actually stand on the beach and forget

what's behind you, which is piles of ruined concrete. I can presume there are bodies under that

concrete somewhere.

And it remains as a tribute to chaos.

So who is doing anything for it?

Who believes them that they're going to get in there with bulldozers?

Where are they going to put the people when they start reconstruction?

And I'm going to raise a point that has to be obvious to anybody who's ever done any major tear down and rebuild.

The place is filled with asbestos and children.

Is anybody thinking about this or intended to do something about it, Sam?

And I don't hold you responsible.

I'm just puzzled about what we're not hearing.
