of C.S. Lewis. I am Matt, and I am joined by my co-hosts, Andrew and David. In this season,

we find ourselves among the stars reading through the first of

CS Lewis's science fiction trilogy out of the silent planet.

And I found, before we dive in here, and since do a little chichagas, I found the line that

I read for that quote, to be profoundly wise.

Through his knowledge of the creatures, which I just interpret to be required in openness,

a willingness to learn, to be vulnerable with these uncertain unknown as we've seen.

And through his love, which probably came from the knowledge, he could hear it with their,

their ears,

not his own ears.

Like it's true empathy.

The progression of empathy was to approach the unknown,

the uncertain.

Like it really summarizes his entire journey.
