In this week's episode we broke down the first point of error in Sandy Melgar's appellate brief that was filed on December 6th

This was the first in a three-part series where we're going to break down the nearly 400 page document filed by the Secrets to the District Court

There were two main focuses of this episode. One was of course the appeal document where we honed in on that point of error

which it had to do with basically Maxi Chris claiming that the jury got it wrong

and he goes through a lot of case law and point by point through the trial to explain that the evidence presented by the prosecution through the trial did not meet the legal standard of sufficiency to find Sandra Melgar guilty beyond a reasonable doubt
