Summary

What do weightlifting and meditation have in common? You’re not supposed to feel immediately comfortable with either one of them. Meditation isn’t necessarily simple, and just because it doesn’t come easily to you doesn’t mean that you’re bad at it or won’t get anything out of it. It’s actually normal to experience intrusive thoughts while trying to meditate.

In today’s episode, we’ll be joined by guest Ariel June. We recognize that keeping your mind in good shape is part of an overall good physical fitness strategy, and Ariel is a meditation teacher who has a lot to say about the practice of meditation and its benefits for the mind. Listen to the episode to hear what Ariel has to say about why meditation is so important, why you’re supposed to feel uncomfortable during meditation, and what role meditation plays in self-healing.

Topics Discussed in Today’s Episode:

  • What can be achieved through meditation
  • Why Ariel believes meditation is so important
