Hey, welcome to another episode of A Year in the Bible with Daily Grace.

I'm Shelby, and I'm here with Paul, and we're talking through Exodus chapters 27 through 29.

Paul, walk us through these chapters.

Yeah, so we're getting into the details here about a lot of really specific things.

And, you know, I think it's important to just state outright.

Like sometimes our eyes can kind of glaze over when we're reading scripture like this.

And, you know, we know from 2 Timothy, he tells us that all scriptures God breathe and it's all

profitable, right? So it can often leave us wondering, you know, what is the tabernacle and these

priests? What is it, how is it profitable for me, right? But I think there's some really

specific things that are important to notice here.

And what all of these details signify to us first is it shows us God's holiness.

And I think it's important to state like the way that things are done before God matters.

Right.

He didn't just set up his presence in any old tent, right? He actually built this specific place for his people. Priests couldn't wear just any old clothes or, you know,

sacrifice in any old way, right? He wanted a very specific way that was particular to him and for them to do it rightly because

he is holy and the way that we as human beings try to live our lives is often unworthy of him.

And so he gives a really specific instructions for them to be successful in relationship with him.

And secondly, I think it's important to just realize,

and looking at the whole of Scripture, realizing that the priesthood is really important, actually.

And understanding the priesthood will help you understand other parts of Scripture even better.

You know, in 2812, it says that Aaron bears the names of the Israelites before the

Lord for remembrance. And this is a phrase here that, you know, kind of talks about what he's
