Hey, it's Shelby and Paul here. We're taking you through the book of Exodus, and today

we're talking about chapters 30 and 31. We just had a total moment of freaking out over something

that we really love about these chapters. So Paul, take it away. Yes. So we have this moment where it says that

God calls these two people to come and actually build and produce these things for the tabernacle

and these garments and all these things that we've been talking about the last few chapters.

So we have Bezalel and O'Holiab.

And this is actually super interesting.

The first time in Scripture that we get someone being filled with God's spirit,

and it's for a creative purpose, right?

And I think back in 282, I think back to 282, where God tells Moses

to make Aaron's holy garments for glory and for beauty, right? And so I think it tells us that

God values beauty and he equips people to make beautiful things. And, you know, when I'm talking

about beauty, I'm not just talking about things that look pretty or that we, you know, like to look at,

but really, I mean things that are good. And when I say good, I mean God's definition of good.

When he was creating the world back in Genesis 1, it says that each time

he would look at his creation, he saw that it was good. And we know just by looking at the world that

it's really beautiful, right? Mountains and lakes and trees and all these wonderful things

that God created, right? And because we're made in God's image, we are also called

to create beautiful things. And he equips us to do just that. And so God doesn't just give

Israel priests. He robs them in beauty. And he doesn't just live in any old tent. He creates

this beautiful tabernacle, right? That has gold and silver and all these, you know, things made by artists, right?

And, you know, I think it's important to say, you know, for any of our listeners out there that maybe aren't as artistic or have that artistic inclination,
