We've made it through a lot of genealogies. We talked about how we're going to focus on the temple and

worshiping the Lord. What's going on in today's chapters? Yeah, I know we're all sad. The genealogies are over,

but yeah, chapter 10, the narrative we've officially started.

It begins with this really, really brief account of Saul and his death. And, you know,

Shelby, this is a really big difference between Chronicles and Samuel. I mean, Saul was a huge

figure in first Samuel. And here he gets like a chapter. Chronicles is just much more

interested in getting to David as quickly as possible. So I just kind of briefly record

Saul's death. And, you know, he also just seems intent on drawing a contrast between Saul and

David here. Like there's this commentary at the very end of chapter 10.
