Scott, today we're going to be in First Chronicles 13 through 15.

Can you walk us through what's happening in these chapters?

Yeah, sure.

So, you know, as I point this out, this is a section really dominated by the Ark of the Covenant.

So this was the wooden box, essentially, that God had instructed Moses to build way back in Exodus 25.

It was supposed to go in the innermost room of the tabernacle and later temple called the

Most Holy Place.

And God was said to dwell between the two cherubs on top of the ark.

And inside you had a couple of things.

You had the Ten Commandments.

You had Aaron's rod.

And some of the manats here that God had provided for the wilderness was placed in the ark.

And so this was a very, very holy object.

And you don't mess with it, as Uza, unfortunately found out.

Only certain people could transport it and had to be transported in a very specific way.

Yeah, and those instructions were all available. We've kind of talked about this before,

but they weren't followed, and that led to tragedy. But the ark is finally brought into Jerusalem,

and this is a moment of rejoicing, a really big moment, right? Yes, huge, huge moments. Yeah, I mean, these chapters really show us

all of Israel. Again, we talked about yesterday. They're united around worshiping the Lord
