0:33.5	Bible. My name is Alexa, and I'm joined my co-host, Beth. Hey, everyone. We are back for another week
0:39.1	of diving deeply into scripture. Today, we're going to be looking at day one of week eight.
0:44.9	And so the verse that we annotated today is Genesis 50-20, which is a short verse and it says,
0:51.0	You planned evil against me. God planned it for good to bring about the present result, the survival of many people.
0:58.7	So, Alexa, tell us how this annotation day was for you.
1:02.6	Yeah. Okay. So I have to admit that I'm a little biased because I'm like 95% sure that I was the one who wrote the week of this study.
1:10.6	So it was a little hard to go
1:12.5	into this week without any prior knowledge. But I did try very hard the best I could to put myself
1:19.8	in the shoes of someone doing this for the first time. And so I thought it could be helpful to talk about
1:25.4	the first two prompts because people might have found those prompts hard, especially because this is such a short verse like you said, Beth.
1:33.9	So the first prompt asks us to highlight any words or phrases that point to Christ.
1:40.2	I highlighted the phrase, you planned evil against me because that reminded me of how the Pharisees plotted against Jesus to arrest and kill him.
1:49.6	And then I highlighted the phrase, the survival of many people because it made me think of how it's through Christ's death that many people are able to be saved.
