This year, we want to spend a few minutes with you every day walking through our study Christ and all of Scripture.

0:09.0

Each week we will dive deeply into two passages of Scripture, one from the Old Testament and one from the New,

0:15.0

seeing how they connect and point to Jesus.

0:17.0

Whether you are doing the study yourself or just following along with us here, we are hopeful that through

0:22.4

studying these passages each week, you will see how Christ is not only present throughout the entire

0:27.4

biblical story, but the center of it.

1:04.2

week really encouraged me to have more faith in my circumstances, especially the hard circumstances.

1:10.2

That might seem really simple, but I think it can be

1:12.6

pretty hard sometimes to have faith and to trust God and what he's doing when our circumstances

1:17.7

aren't good, especially if those circumstances are really, really not good. My husband and I are in a

1:24.0

season of waiting right now, and it's really easy for my faith to waver during this time.

1:28.3

And so I can understand to a degree the reaction of Habakkuk and Habakkuk when he questions God and what he's doing.

1:35.8

I find myself often questioning God's goodness and why he's making us wait.
