0:38.5	looked at Habakkuk 2-4 in Romans 116 through 17, and now we want to connect those verses together
0:43.8	into Christ. Yes, so Alexa, could you start our discussion on those connections? Yeah,
0:49.3	definitely. I think it could be helpful to start with some context for Romans 116 through 17.
0:55.1	The book of Romans is a letter written by Paul to the church in Rome, a church that is made up of both Jews and Gentiles.
1:02.1	This letter to the Romans is all about the gospel, and we see that right away in reading chapter 1.
1:07.3	In fact, the gospel is mentioned in the very first verse.
1:10.6	One of the reasons why Paul speaks so much about the gospel in Romans is so that he can
1:15.1	remind the Romans that salvation is found in Christ alone.
1:19.3	Paul teaches both the Jew and Gentile Christians in Rome that salvation isn't about
1:24.3	pedigree or good works.
1:26.6	Salvation is given to believers by grace through faith.
1:29.8	And that is why Paul writes in Romans 1 16 through 17, for the righteousness of God is revealed from
