Bible. I'm Alexa, and I'm here with my co-hosts, Beth. Hey, everyone. So far this week, we have looked at Habakkuk 2-4, and now we want to turn to the New Testament, and we're going to study Romans 1, 16 through 17. So let me go ahead and read those verses for us. For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, first to the Jew and also to the Greek. For in it,

the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith, just as it is written, the righteous

will live by faith. So, Alexa, how did it go annotating this passage? Yeah, it was good. This is such a

powerful passage, and I think about it a lot, especially verse 16.

I loved how one of the prompts asked us to define the gospel.

I think as Christians, the word gospel is something we say and hear all the time,

So my simple definition of the gospel is the good news that God sent his son to die in our place and rise from the grave, giving us forgiveness and eternal life.
