0:34.3	week of a year in the Bible. My name is Alexa, and I'm joined by my co-host, Beth.
0:38.8	Hey, everyone. So this week, we're going to be looking at Judges 2, verses 10 through 19, and Romans 6, 15 through 23.
0:46.6	And we're going to learn that Christ sets us free from our sin so that we can walk in obedience to God.
0:52.4	So today we're going to be talking about the annotation day on Judges 2, 10 through 19.
0:57.3	And this is a very long passage.
0:58.9	So for those of you who may not have done the annotation just yet,
1:02.4	give yourself some extra time to read this passage.
1:05.1	And it's okay if this annotation time takes you longer than normal because it's very long.
1:10.3	Yes, absolutely. I'm going to read this
1:12.1	passage for us, so hang tight, as I do since like Beth said, it's a little long. That whole
1:17.3	generation was also gathered to their ancestors. After them, another generation rose up who did not
1:22.9	know the Lord or the works he had done for Israel. The Israelites did what was evil in the Lord's sight.
1:28.6	They worshipped the Baal's and abandoned the Lord, the God of their ancestors, who had brought
1:32.8	them out of Egypt. They followed other gods from the surrounding peoples and bowed down to them.
1:38.1	They angered the Lord, for they abandoned him and worshipped Baal and the asteris.
